About Attorney Josef Mitkevicius

As the owner and lead attorney of Mitkevicius Law, PLLC, Josef Mitkevicius loves standing up and defending people in their most vulnerable positions with the full force of the government against them. Josef knows your life is on the line and negotiates for pleas only after exhausting every other option. His first goal in every case is to fight for dismissal or win at trial — without charging hidden trial fees like some other attorneys might do.

Attorney Mitkevicius doesn’t concern himself with what you’re accused of and doesn’t believe someone’s whole life should be judged by their worst moment. He treats clients with the dignity and respect they deserve and ensures they never feel judged when they walk through his door.

Josef has handled thousands of criminal cases throughout his legal career and knows the prosecution and judges personally, and they know he won’t hesitate to take a case to trial. In addition to being an alumnus of Georgetown University Law Center, he is President of the Society of the Criminal Defense Bar and a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

When he’s not handling criminal cases, Josef enjoys unwinding in nature with his wife and two children. He also has a passion for vegetable gardening and sustainable waste management.
