We run an immediate conflict check and reply within 2 hours confirming acceptance and the local-counsel fee that will be due to your firm if hired. 3 – Engagement & Funding Let the client know Mitkevicius Law will handle payment logistics, send a bilingual engagement packet, and let them know that a case manager will be reaching out to discuss. Onoe of our case managers will call referral and send the client a bilingual e-signature packet, collect the fee in trust, and follow up with local counsel re: any county-specific appearance requirements. 4 – Fee Disbursement — Once funds clear trust, we ACH your $300 / $750 local-counsel fee (or 30 % if you originated the case). You receive a remittance email for your records. 5 – Shared Workspace Accept the Clio “co-counsel” invite to view calendars, filings, and bilingual client updates in real time. We populate Clio with pleadings, Padilla notes, and to-do items; you’re free to add local intel or hearing results.

Client retains us first; now we need courtroom coverage in your county.
